Last October, I went with Habitat for Humanity to Tutwiler Mississippi to build a home for the homeless. While I was there, a dog came up to me and looked me right in the eyes and made me reflect on myself and look within. From looking within myself, I realized what I want to do with my life, help the needy, and capture the beauty of life through my camera. Being in Mississippi and living in a community so different from mine made me feel free and away from everything that brings me stress and anxiety. From exploring abandoned houses to walking for miles on an abandoned railroad, the adventures of this trip opened my eyes and helped me understand the phenomena of life just a little more.
